Returns Supervisor

Work Schedule
- This is a full-time (40 hour/week) position
- Standard days are Monday – Friday flexible from 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. – 8 hours not including 30 minute paid lunch break
- Some nights and weekends may be required
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the staff is fully trained and performing at standards to be developed
- Identify opportunities for individual and process improvements
- Process all returns within 48 hours of receipt
- Review all product for appropriate disposition
- Arrange for repair and recover a high percentage of product returns following repair and test protocols, and safety requirements. Oversee the rework process.
- Review customer and technical data entry for accuracy
- Maintain and organize packaging and repair part inventory
- Maintain effective communication with Finance, Quality, and Engineering Departments
- Create and submit monthly reports as required to support warranty and quality initiatives.
- Adhere to proper guidelines for testing reworked product
- Maintain and update documentation of all internal processes
- Maintain tools and shop supplies within Rework area of warehouse
- Be on the floor as a working supervisor contributing to the daily operation and supporting areas that need assistance.
- Constantly monitor, balance, and match workload to resources available.
- Maintain open and effective communication with Staff and Management through weekly meetings.
- Train, evaluate, develop, and manage staff
- Set goals for staff which support the goals of Bosch TTNA
- Maintain a clean work area and a safe work environment
- Cross train staff to ensure highly effective workforce and efficient operations
- Maintain high level of energy and enthusiasm as example to employees as a strong and effective leader
- Identify opportunities for improvement, develop plans and implement as appropriate
- Train and develop staff to be in alignment with Corporate Procedures, Goals and management expectations.
- Manage the calibration of all tools/gages/fixtures used in the rework process.
- Set example by diligence (work hard), knowledge (be informed of Bosch policies and procedures and technical requirements of position) and demeanor (open, honest, respectful, positive, energetic)
- Make qualified technical assessments on goods returned.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications:
- Technical training and experience within the HVAC industry.
- Effective supervisory skills to direct and assist staff. 2 years minimum experience required.
- Ability to measure employee’s results and initiate corrective actions when necessary
- Ability to identify issues that arise and search out root cause
- Results focused and production mindset essential to the success of this position.
- Ability to hold employees accountable to standards and performance
- Possess strong communication and listening skills
- Organization and attention to detail
- Attention and adherence to Safety protocols.
- Customer focus and orientation.
- Experienced with network based ERP Systems and Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Works well with others and knows how to be a team player.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs
